Sunday School, Soccer and School #2

Sunday is such a special day for our family. I really enjoy spending the whole day together. We went to church to teach Sunday School. The class is so cute, and the twins love to learn about God. It was creation story this morning with a very cute activity. Then we ran home to get ready for soccer. We played a girl in our Sunday School classes team. It was fun. G girl scored 2 more goals and the boy had over 7....I stopped counting! So much fun to watch them...Mimi got them a snow cone! They loved that! We got home, worked on some school stuff. The boy didn't feel great, but then he came around. We got Chinese and took it to school to work on stuff for their class. It was High School Musical night on Disney, they watched together in the girls room. Sweet...then off to bed.. We begin apple week and blue week. It will be fun. Cookout on Friday at school. It will be a busy week, but I'm sure fun!

Twins Score! Horns Lose!

What an amazing day the twins had on the soccer field. The girl got 2 goals...her first for the season, and the boy got 3! They were on FIRE! I was on time, and ready...Bumpy went to the game, and sister stopped by on the way to my nieces game. I went quickly to drop off the twins and then headed to the game! It was my first for the season...we had great seats, but...it was so terrible to sit there and watch them lose. It was mistakes after mistakes. Oh well, then the rain...it was at the end pouring as I got so wet, that everything I had on was soaking wet. I made it to pick up the twins, came home and took a hot shower...and crawled into bed with the twinners...then off to bed, we have Sunday school tomorrow!

We get Tiny Tim for the Weekend

Well, it's our turn...or should I say G man's turn to have the class mascot spend the weekend with us. When I picked up the twins, they were so excited that Mommy finally was picking them up and that the boy had the turtle for the weekend. I had a busy day at work, and was ready to settle into my house to love on my twinners. We came home, and ate a popscile. We were excited to go to soccer practice and took the turtle. We took pictures and then got Chick fil A for dinner. When we got home, we took showers and found out that mommy was going to get to go to the Texas game. So I found some friends for them to watch them for tomorrow. Next we watched a family movie and then off to bed. We are going to sleep in tomorrow.

Painting Green Turtles

We had a great day. It started with painting turtle shells in g and g's room. Then moved to another Kindergarten room, a first and second grade room. It was a busy work day. I loved getting home a little early, ate dinner together and loved on the kiddos! I love it that they can take showers by themselves and get dressed in their pj's. They were off to bed, so that I could watch Grey's! Love that show. Busy day tomorrow with soccer practice and two games this weekend.

Work, Dance, Luby's, and Home

Well, it was GREEN day at school and the twins were excited to get dressed and play on the computer this morning. The are into that webkinz stuff on the computer. I have never seen them ready for school so quick. I had a morning meeting and worked all day at cleaning off my desk, then off to my afterschool into the evening training for my job! I missed my twinkers today! They got picked up by their Bumpy and the girl went to dance...I have missed it two weeks in a row:-( and the boy just played...then the whole family went to Luby's without me....the twins ate up great my mom said...then home for bath, and teeth...and finally I appeared. I loved on the girl while the boy was on the computer...all he wanted me to do was log him on....when I laid down with him tonight, he gave me love! He talked about school and that he had to get an ice pack from the nurse...he talked about how he loves school and then we said our prayers...the girl told me how much she loves her teacher...she was making me projects to do at my work....she plays teacher all the time...wonder if she will be a fourth generation teacher....I would love that for her...it is fun to watch children learn....so off to bed...I have a busy day tomorrow...

Haircut day and a trip to the Pet Shop

Today was a fun day with the twins. We started early in our green clothes. We got to school early this morning, and I was off to the office. I had lots of work to catch up there. I work there tomorrow too, then an afterschool inservice. It is green day at school tomorrow! The boy got his haircut and we brought a friend with us, then we went to the pet store. The girl and boy enjoyed looking at the animals while I talked with the pet store guy about getting a turtle. The twins are looking for a new pet to love, I am waiting for a dog when they are SIX. I am happy with our bunny and our fishes....not them...turtles live till they go to college, the guy said...I was like, I don't want that responsibility. Just say no to turtles...then he told me about a bearded dragon lizard....it was really neat, but I would have to get it out and take it around on me...no....way....I think a fish tank with pretty fish sounds nice. Maybe for Christmas....or maybe not! Then I took the kids to get a webkin...they have been saving their money, and I told them that if they wanted to put money toward it, we could get it. The girl and the boy have been behaving really well at school. I did love g boy's hair and I loved having time with the twins today! Got their teachers volunteers organized...yeah...check check!

Tennis and Mimi's afterschool

What a busy day again. Back to work and school. The twins did great heading off to school. I had made their favorite banana chip muffins. I had to work on my presentation and get ready for my inservice this evening. I saw the twins after lunch recess and gave them some love. Then Mimi picked them up, and Bumpy took them to tennis. I forgot to pay S, and they ate dinner with the old people. I was happy to get some love from them when I got home, they were bathed and ready for bed. I let them play awhile and talked to my work partner. She was very sad due to a tragic loss of a friend. He was 25 years old and had a wife and two children. I was deeply touched by his faith, and I shared with my friend how much we don't understand God's plan, but we have faith in His plan. I sometimes wonder why God chooses people who we love so much and leaves us behind. I know that we learn lessons, but sometimes it is so hard. I hope that his wife feels the comfort of friends, family, and faith. Green week continues tomorrow.

Sunday School, Soccer, and School

Green Week begins tomorrow, and are we ready! We began early this morning with our first Sunday School class. It was wonderful to see all the children have smiles on their faces as we meet some new friends and welcomed our old ones! I love who I teach with and we get along so well. It was fun, then off to the grocery store with the twins. Crazy on a Sunday. I was thinking that our soccer game was going to be at two, but we needed to be their at 12:30 for pictures....we almost didn't make it, but the twins were amazing. The girl and boy put their shoes, shin guards, and socks on by themselves in the car! We had a potty break in the car with a cup...if you need details it was a bit wild...if you are thinking it was the boy, nope the girl....oh my. The boy was on fire in the game. He scored three and was an awesome defender. He is such a good player. The girl did great, but she is not as aggressive against boys. I had to help coach....scary! It was fun...Then I came home to fix dinner, do the laundry and get my big presentation ready for tomorrow. I hope we have a great green day tomorrow. Tennis and Mimi's.....

Festival Day at Church and the Longhorns Play

Today was a fun day. We woke up about eight thirty which was so nice! I mowed the lawn and cleaned the garage. The twins played store in the boys room. He loves to play with money. We came in and ate lunch. Then we took showers and got ready to go to the festival at church. The twins love the festival and all the games. It is fun to watch them remember it from last year. I was amazed at the boy when he ran back inside to get a bag for all this treasures. Smart thing who remembers that you get prizes from the game. It was so cute. Sissy got a bag too, and they were excited that we were going to be spinning the wheel at the cake walk. Every year we sign up to work the cake walk and make a cake. This year we were out of cakes early. I made a lemon cake...it looked yummy. Then we picked up Rudy's and ate with Mimi and Bumpy. We watched the blow out of the longhorns! HOOK EM....and finally we looked better. We watched the game there until halftime, and then came home. We have Sunday School tomorrow and it's our first class. Then to HEB, and we have soccer, and cook dinner for the cousins and sister. Busy day tomorrow! Glad we had fun at the festival and the team won big!

Show and Tell/ Friday Night Lights

Last day of yellow week and the twins had yellow show and tell. G girl brought her sunshine Carebear from her auntie and the boy took his yellow binoculars. He also found a word book that had a yellow cover on it. It is funny, but both of them are really into pointing out print. The SRP teachers told me today that they scored within one point of each other on their first screening. Funny! Sometimes I don't give that boy the credit I should. He is smart, but she has that school sense more. The teachers loved the lemon bars and the twins teacher loved the caterpillars. It was fun to put them up! We went to watch the cousins win in volleyball, and then to the high school game. It was a family affair! My twins did great and enjoyed the Friday Night Lights in Cedar Park! We are all tucked into bed and ready to sleep in tomorrow! The church festival is tomorrow, and then the Longhorn game at six! I am happy to have day off of work! Mow that grass tomorrow....it looks really high!

Picture Day at School

Today was Picture day at School for the kindergarten twins. I stressed about what I wanted them to wear, and what it will look like when we look back twelve years from now when they are graduating from high school. I couldn't decide if I should dress them in something that matched, since I know my days are numbered in that OR dress them in regular everyday clothes...I opped for the cute hawaiian twin outfit that my friend had gotten for me in Hawaii. The shirt matched the girls dress, looked so cute and hope I don't regret it one day. You know it is the pressure that one day my son's wife will say to me, "What did he look like in Kindergarten, and I will get out the picture and she will look at me, thinking-you dressed him in that..." Or my daughter will say "Why did you always put a bow in my hair?" I guess I will answer, I thought about it all night long, and this is what I did. I did it with well intensions and love. I came up, took you out of those clothes and dressed you in soccer shirts and shorts for PE. I brought you lunch with a slush and all day I thought of your first real school pictures have been taken. All these mile stones are coming so quick, and I wish I could freeze you two. You are so special and beautiful to me and I celebrate in my heart every time I get to see you, hug you, and tell you how much I love you both. You both had great days, filled with so much. I loved being in your room, making caterpillars with you and seeing you interact with each other and your friends. What a special day!

A busy day!

What a busy day! It is now ten thirty and I am just now sitting down. I worked all day and had an inservice at night. I did manage to paint with my twins class. We did the orange painting that I never got to last week and added lemons with yellow paint. How fun, we made patterns with the fruit. Some did orange lemon orange lemon...some did lemon lemon orange orange...it was really fun to watch the kids think about their pattern and then create it. It was messy and smelled yummy. My twins were really good with me there..not perfect but pretty good. We are going to make them into caterpillars tomorrow. I have another inservice tomorrow. So it will be another busy day. I really love my job, and missed the evening adventures at home. Tomorrow is picture day...hope everyone smiles great!

Another yellow day!

Today has been another yellow day! The twins stayed late with their teacher while mama had a meeting with her boss. We are having pizza for dinner and going to watch their teacher's boy, Z, play football. I taught him Kinder and he is the QB...quarterback for all you out of the football lingo...then we will stop by and see the twins play Volleyball. They are going to be surprised to see us. I am baking brownies for my teacher inservice tomorrow, and am excited to have one down and two more to go. I forgot to mention a funny of the day, yesterday...G girl was in the school library with me afterschool and was looking around while I was visiting with a new teacher and teacher trainer.....she was overheard saying to the boy, "I really like this big bookstore, it has way more books than Barnes and Noble!" Out of the mouth of babes! So cute.
G boy was so good at school today, let them watch a movie when they got home. I have to reward that good behavior. He had a big smile on his face knowing he was doing the right thing! Love those kiddos.

Yellow Week Begins

We began yellow week with a yellow lunch full of pineapple, popcorn cakes, mini sandwiches on hawaiian bread, and a yellow bag of chips. Yummy...G and G got up and put their cute outfits on, and the girls comment was " Mama, thanks for making us look like twinkers" I has hoping the boy didn't care that they matched! I thought they looked so cute, I don't dress them in as much matchy matchy stuff anymore. I do keep them in the same color, and I love that! They don't seem to mind that at all. I love celebrating their twinship. They got out of the car without any hassle and I saw them at lunch time. We celebrated their teacher's birthday with songs, cupcakes , and lunch. It was nice to see the mom's that helped and the kiddos. G girl lost her second tooth today. This makes two that I have missed, oh well. So the tooth fairy is coming tonight...can't wait to see what she brings... we had tennis lessons, ate dinner at sisters and read books and off to nighty night. Tomorrow they have done their yellow homework and ready for PE.

Great Weekend/Horns Win

Well, it has been a couple of days since I last checked in. I had a Leadership Retreat with work on Thursday and Friday, so the twins were with Mimi and Bumpy. They had fun, shield parade was long but fun, and Texas won on Saturday...barely....ouch....

Sunday has been relaxing...went to church, HEB, soccer game, and had my sister over for dinner...yummy....Grant scored his first goal of the season, and Gracelyn had some great kicks...Our team name is the Lions....Aunt Beckie and Uncle Robbie came to watch...that was sweet....

Well, Yellow week begins and I hope we all stay healthy. Tomorrow is their teacher's birthday celebration. We took her to breakfast on Saturday morning. She will like her turtle birthday tomorrow...We have tennis and dinner at sisters...sweet dreams.

Work and then play --next nap!

It is orange day at school...So off they went to school in their orange clothes and backpacks. I had thought about all the lost sleep this week, run down with the crazy night, the fact that I am going to be gone on a school retreat for two days with out the twins...I made the mommy call and told the kids I was picking them up early and taking them to lunch. They were more than excited and hopped out of the car and went to school. I had an early meeting and then to a couple of schools, then back to twins school to work on their teacher's birthday celebration. Fun, and it will be great on Monday. After painting and getting their assignments that they would miss, we headed out for lunch at Subway...well, we got it to go, and came home....it was awesome. We talked and just hung out coloring our papers, and talking about how much they love Kindergarten. After they finished their art, they played legos together while I worked on the computer, and then we all took a two hour nap. If it hadn't been for my dad ringing the door bell, we could have slept longer. He picked up the boy and I took the girl to dance. She loves dance and really liked her class. We missed it due to her sickness last week. I loved it, because two of her friends from their two year old dance class are together again, so the moms talk. Sweet moms....that helps. G's comment as she left the studio was " Mommy, when I'm a big ballerina I want to always do dance." I loved that and it made me know that sometimes in this crazy days, she loves to dance and the freedom of dance. So, I guess it is worth the craziness.
My mother had a yummy dinner for us, and home to get ready for the retreat and the two days that I'll be away from my twins. Hope they do great and I don't miss them too much.

Sinus Infection and a Special Teacher

Orange week continues, except it started really early this morning. My boy came in to my bed at two am with a belly ache, head ache, etc...He started getting these chills and wouldn't stop shaking, freaked me out ....i remained calm and he asked to take a shower and a bath, so the majority of the next couple of hours were spent sitting on the bathroom floor. I thought that he might throw up (my worst thing to ever clean up) but thank God that didn't happen. Then I called my mom after going to the couch and watching another hour of Disney in the middle of the night with him. He stopped shaking, and I got some Motrin in him. He didn't have a high fever or any other symptoms...except I feel that writing this blog has made me realize that he has been on and off sick since school started. So called mother at six thirty and she was more than nice to listen to my pain of no sleep and what the heck is wrong with my son. Next call, our sweet loving teacher who I knew would pick up the girl and she would go to school with her since the boy was going to the DOC. That is what I call the doctor D-O-C...next call at seven fifteen, the office to make an appointment with our favorite....only to remember he is in Disney World with family and to see the Longhorn game this weekend! How lucky is he, and I am here with sicky....so on to our next favorite and she would see him at nine fifty....did I mention that it was pouring outside and I have to teach at eight....scary...well, teacher arrived, girl happy and gone in her orange outfit, boy next to Mimi's and off to school. Bus accident and rain....late ten minutes, left...pick up boy and leave for docs...it took me over an hour to get to somewhere that takes me a normal seventeen minutes....ok, I'm tired...boy has meds, girl played with cousin, nephew recovers from surgery...oops I forgot to add that I had to bake a cake too....what a day...thank you teacher, mother, doctor, and blog world for letting me vent. Orange week continues and so does life. Sweet dreams.

Grandparents Day and Orange Week begins

Orange Week began at the Passi house! The twins were so excited to have Mimi and Bumpy take them to McDonalds. They got picked up at Kindergarten and were off. My sweet mom had made them cookies for desert and talked to everyone in the office. They got there picture taken and they felt special. It was sweet when mother told me that a little friend L came up to the girl and told her that she was beautiful. It touched my mom's heart. The twins had tennis this afternoon and did a great job. I love watching them play and really become confident with a racket. You know that is my game! My sweet sis fixed us dinner and then we were off to home, showers, teeth, and some coloring. They are such little art heads at home! The boy was into his stapler that he figured out was a magnet....Bill Nye the Science Guy...and the girl was all about the mimi markers and making pumpkins while singing the orange song! Tomorrow, I will be painting with the kids again! It will be fun....Orange paint with oranges! And I can't forget our healthy orange lunch! I made the teachers pumpkin bars for a morning snack for orange week! Yum!

Sunday with out lights!

This morning we woke up and got ready and went to church. We don't always go to nine o'clock mass, but with us waking up early and Sunday school starting in a couple of weeks, we joined the nine o'clock crowd. We were excited that our friends were all around and sat next to a boy for G and a girl for G. Both have been in our preschool and in kindergarten. The girls were quiet and just sat and read books, the boys were loud and played cars and firetrucks...it was so funny how different they are. They came out of me at the same time, and are just wired different. We were surprised to have church in the dark and no air condition. They had blown a transformer? Don't exactly know what that is, but..it was so hot and the kids got drinks during church. The funny of the day was the boy tell his friend during the offertory that if you don't have money...my mom will give you some, then he looks at me and says" hey mom, he needs some cash!" It was so cute. They all walked up to give their money and looked so sweet, even though it was hot...how sweet it is to see children praising our Lord. The rest of the day was, mow the lawn, make dinner for the S family and feed sister and C. Her twins went to eat with a friend. My sister makes me laugh...i miss not seeing her, and so do the kids...dinner at her house tomorrow...I went to school and put up the pictures...their teacher loved them. Happy orange week and Grandparents day tomorrow. My twins can't wait...Happy Meals with Mimi and Bumpy! It was a really good day!

Texas, Texas, Yee Haw!!

Way to start off Orange Week with a Win! It was looking so bad to start off, but we looked amazing in the second half! My twins loved it, especially since mommy is so happy that the Longhorns finally showed up! I worked on the twins shields for the Shield parade at school this week. It is a Naumann tradition since the school opened to parade the halls with each child having a shield. The girl's is really cute with all her favorite things. Ballet, tennis, longhorns, being a twin, fruits and veggies, makeup and dress-up stuff, and cute pictures of our family and bunny! The boy's is really cute too, it has really cool boy colors, blue/brown/green. It has sports, longhorns, fishing, our family and bunny, and pizza and fruit. I have to get them laminated, and then send them to school. On Friday, I think I mentioned that I had taken these funny pics of the class, they turned out so cute.. kindergartners with their mouths wide open, I cut out the watermelon slices and made a cute bulletin board for outside the kids class. They are going to sooo love it! We bought some orange jellybeans at the grocery store, now we are ready to start the week. Kids had a soccer meet and greet and it went really well. The team is going to be so strong. It will be fun to watch!

Second Friday! Painting Day!

Hey, we made it to Friday! The twins got out of the car at drop off and walked to their room. I tried to stay away this morning and worked with one of my teachers on the other hallway. They were very excited about show and tell. G girl had picked her Big Minnie Mouse from Disney, cute and she loved it! Another girl in the class had one too. G boy had picked one of his daddy's fire trucks. Their dad had so many fire trucks in his collection and the boy knows that they are his now. So it caught his teacher off guard when he talked about how special it was because it was his dad's. She said it made her tear up. I am so glad and proud of how my twins have handled their father's death. We talk about him often and when they want too, but we never dwell on any sadness, heaven is a place of love, security and God. What a blessing that we have come to such a good place with his passing. He left behind the best part of him, them. I am so lucky to love them each day and watch them grow in their faith in God and their love of Jesus. We ate dinner early and went to Target and Walmart shopping for flashlights for Flashlight Friday, we didn't have ours yet. We also had fun painting in Kindergarten today! I had a RED painting project for the class today. They made watermelons! Fun, and I took the funniest pictures of the kids with their mouths open! I am putting the pretend watermelons in their picture mouths. It will make a cute bulletin board for the classroom. The girl was OK with me, the boy freaked out, he just wanted me for himself or him and his sis. It is hard for him to see me in a different role then just mom. We are going to have to work on it, thank God the teacher understands. Tomorrow is soccer meet and greet and the big TEXAS game! It was a wonderful RED week, even though we had a bit of a sickness. Hope ORANGE week starts with a BIG WIN tomorrow!

Girl with Mimi and Bumpy..Boy to school!

Of course the girl woke up with fever at 5am, I have to teach Kinder at one of my schools at 8am and the boy is perfect! So, I got everything ready for Mimi, and the girl was going to Killeen with my parents to get meds, and all that fun base stuff at Fort Hood. The boy went awesomely if that is a word to school. He was excited to go and I was so happy that he is well adjusted without his sis....he was parent pick up with my sitter on Thursdays. This is my late day and it was awesome to have her get them. I had a training and he had a great day. The girl has remained fever free all day, so lets hope she makes it for the 1st show and tell day for Kindergarten. They are excited, it has to be RED and fit in their backpack! Wonder what they will pick after bathtime. We did make your own pizzas for dinner and they loved making them and eating them. I love to involve them in dinner, then they eat up better. The boy made his pizza look like Santa, I also heard him talking to him about getting a computer this afternoon. Funny, only wish he knew Santa only has a laptop because she got one from work! Funny...Also, it was Lunchable day today at our house...I can't stand those things, but my kids think they are special. So the boy was so excited about it, and the girl ate it in the cart at the base! Thanks for all your sweet comments, blogger friends. your babies will be here before you know it!

What a crazy day!

Well, day two of Red week has been crazy! the girl called me from school and told me she felt bad, I was like "try to make it baby, you have dance tonight" I was in the middle of a search around Cedar Park looking for tap shoes for her, and I thought she was just having that " I miss my mom, and Kindergarten is a long day" When I got to school to pick her up, she was burning up and I felt terrible. I'm sure every mom goes through this, but I wish I had gone to get her. I took her home, gave her motrin, a popsicle and layed her in my bed. I still had Kindergarten parent night, and the night was young. My dad had the kids and I left to find out about my Kindergarten class. Their teacher did so great and I just smiled when she said things that were just like my class. I was quick to pick up kiddos, bath, bed ( no book:() and then I ate my dinner. It was nine o'clock! oh well, the life of a single mom...I did manage to have a plan for tomorrow, and get my teaching stuff together for the morning. Did I tell you, I also made muffins for the teachers who have been helping my kids adjust to Kinder. Love them.

Red Week Begins

Well, Red Week begins in Kindergarten. I was so excited that the twins are fever free and back to school. We wore our Lobster shirts from Boston to school, so they looked like twins today! Fun! It was a little crazy at morning drop off, I kinda sprung it on them and asked them to walk to class together without me. It was raining, I would have gotten all wet and we are always running right on time, so the girl went with the idea...the boy didn't. Of course, my minivan backed up the line at drop off trying to get the boy out....finally the pe teacher came (life saver) and got him out with a big hug....I wanted to cry and laugh...teachers kids are always trouble! I was glad they did it, and tomorrow we will try again. They are singing the red song...so cute and they had a great day in the gym. I looked in on them, so cute. Caught a big big grasshopper, really cool. I looked for tap shoes, need to find them for dance tomorrow...Watched sister's twins play volleyball, my twins were great! Read some books, and off to bed! oops, I forgot that I get the good mom award...my kids had a very healthy RED lunch! So cute, red jello, strawberries, red drink, sandwich with red jelly, and 10 red jellybellys! They really liked it!

Labor Day 2007

It was a fun day, the fever's are gone and we eat dinner at Mimi's and then went to the mall. We went by Target on the way home, and didn't go in, the parking lot was totally full. We came back home, finished some projects that I had started and ate dinner, and went to bed. Tomorrow will be a busy day! Wake up early!

Another bites the dust

Well, well...another one bites the dust with fever. Yeap, G got the funk from G and we stayed home. I am happy to report that my team won...it wasn't pretty but a win is a win. I am glad that if they were going to get sick, it's on the weekend! So, the house is clean, planned the meals for the week, did their homework already for the week, and have their backpack packed! Yeah, I was on a mission. I hadn't spent anytime at home, besides sleeping this week, so the house was a mess, laundry was piled up, and the kitchen needed a cleaning. I work on work for me that I had brought home, and the kids played, watched tv, watched tv and played. I am hoping the fever is over tomorrow and we can hang with the family at mom's. I have fruit to bring to the Labor Day bash....i forgot to mention that we watched fireworks in the driveway. They didn't get to shoot them off on the fourth of July so today was the day! I thought it was thunder...and then we looked out the front window and it was going on! Glad we say it in our pj's!

First Texas Game and my boy is sick

I can't believe I was up at 5am, the boy came in and was HOT! I didn't figure it out at first, SO tired, and then I was like....are you sick? I have a headache, ok....motrin and I tried to go back to sleep. I had gotten a babysitter for them while I would go to the Texas game, guess not! I can't believe the boy is sick, just fever and a little congested. I hope it is a 24 hour bug....I knew that they are going to get sick this year, they haven't been exposed to all those germs! YUCK! So we are home for the day, drinks from Sonic, and we are going to watch the game at Mimi's. I convinced them to get the pay per view! Yeah.....the boy will go over and watch another show up in the bedroom. The girl will play with cousin T. I hope we win and look good, we need a good season! I hope to go to the next home game, and I hope the girl doesn't get the bug! Hook em
